Health logs, symptom records, and notes you enter
Questions and messages submitted through the AI chat (AskBot)
Automatically Collected Information
Subscription & Purchase Data: Transaction information processed by Apple's StoreKit to manage your subscription tier (Free, Basic, Premium, or Unlimited).
Advertising Data: The App uses Google AdMob on free-tier accounts to serve ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
AI Chat Data: Messages you send to AskBot are transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate responses. OpenAI may process this data per their usage policies. Do not include personal identifying information in chat messages.

To provide and improve app features including pet health tracking and AI consultations
To manage your subscription and restore purchases
To display relevant advertisements (free tier only)
To generate AI-powered responses to your pet health questions
3. Third-Party Services

All pet health data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate external servers that store your personal pet data. We implement reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission is 100% secure.

CritterCare is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. Your Choices
Ad personalization: You can limit ad tracking in your device's iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Data deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Contact us to request deletion of any data we may hold.
Subscription management: Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
